What Is
Gulf Coast Giveback?
For over 64 years, WLOX has built a reputation focused on service to our local community. We've been there when the community needed a hand — lending exposure and support to nonprofits throughout our 6 coastal counties.
We're proud to launch a new initiative dedicated to improving lives on the Gulf Coast.
Gulf Coast Giveback
allows us to collaborate with deserving organizations to support members of our community — all year long.
Together with our sponsors, we will do our part to make our community a better place to live, work, and grow.
Giving back isn't always about writing a check
— sometimes, it's about
rolling up your sleeves.
Every day across the Gulf Coast, local charities work tirelessly — but too often, they struggle with limited hands to help.
π½οΈ
Feed Families
Local food pantries need hands to sort, pack, and serve — not just donations. Show up and make a direct difference.
π§
Protect Children
Mentoring programs need consistent, caring adults to show up every week. Your time changes a child's trajectory.
π
Clean Our Coast
Environmental groups need volunteers to restore what makes our home beautiful. Help protect what we love.
ποΈ
Honor Veterans
Serve meals, provide companionship, and recognize those who served us. Their sacrifice deserves our presence.
π
Rebuild Homes
Storm recovery is ongoing. Skilled and unskilled hands are always needed to help neighbors rebuild their lives.
π€
Serve Neighbors
From senior centers to shelters — your time is the most valuable gift you can give to someone in need.
